Due to work and having to run an errand I've spent most
of the week in the Brera.
Blasted upto Grenoble via Sisteron on Monday afternoon.
Back down to Antibes via Valence/Avignon Tuesday afternoon.
Then upto Vichy last night via Valence and cutting across
via Borg-Argental and St-Etienne.
Then bombed down the A75 this morning to get a gawp at
the Millau viaduct.
Some rain, some fog. Temperatures varying between 5 deg C
in the north and 23 deg C here.
Stayed overnight twice in two different Chateau.
(Chateau de la Commaderie in Eybans and
the Chateau in Busset last night, which was very castle-y
indeed! And I was the only person there. Had to take
the Brera over a drawbridge!!!!
Anyway what to say?
Long loping autoroute runs followed by twisty
semi-mountainous routes through some passes.
Do I feel tired? Exhausted? No a bit. Loved the lot.
MP3 tunes on random play. Bit of audiobook
("Pattern Recognition"by William Gibson)
If you need to do some long distance, highspeed cruising
and like to throw in a bit of a fun detouring on smaller roads:
Brera 2.2JTS is the ****ing peach for you.
