Hmm, this all sounds familiar, i've had my Ti since last october and its been back in to my dealer 4 times for various things, and on all 4 occaisions one of the items on my hit list has been.......... creaking clutch pedal. The first 3 times "no fault found" was the response, the latest visit included me demonstrating the fault to the service manager. On return the noise was gone, but 4 days later, guess what??? its back
, this very evening. So, do I get my overalls on and fix it myself? Or do I take the car that cost me the thick end of £18,000 of my hard earned, back to the dealer yet again????
It seems to me, without even having looked up under my 159 dash, and 24 years shopfloor experience in the motortrade, that whatever the clutch pedal pivots upon, needs to be lubricated PROPERLY, by being taken apart, lubed, then re-assembled. NOT JUST SPRAYED WITH A CAN OF SPRAY GREASE OR SIMILAR!!!!!
