i truly cannot believe alfa have failed to sort this problem and we're all still wasting our time and money on adjusting cambers, etc.
i'm so sick of it that i've sold by beloved spider. the car has been an albatross. it's been back to the dealer 21 times in 24 months. the dealer, benfield in newcastle, have always been fantastic. so if you're reading this, dax, please pass on my gratitude to all the lads, especially steve.
i was sick of the faulty roof, drivers seat, the roof, engine management system, the roof, premature tyre wear, the roof, a multitude of sensor faults, the roof, faulty seat belts, the roof, water leaks, oh and did i mention the roof?
so i've bought a mazda, sorry. it's a tad dull, i know, but it won't let me down and leave me stranded by the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. i also fully appreciate the new car won't turn heads or leave me with a funny warm feeling at 7500 revs.
i shall continue to check the forum regularly. you never know, once the silly little faults are ironed out i may even beat a trail to the dealer with my fist full of cash ready, once more to have my heart broken and dreams shattered by a beautiful italian alfa.
