Re: is this a good deal on a 159SW?
Sounds like a nice car!
Dont really agree with the previous commment though, had my fingers burned with this one!
Yes its right it will have the warranty and should be checked by Alfa if from approved dealer..... thats where it falls over, I belived in Alfa approved used scheme and its cost me money! Was told by dealer they dont check most of them as its done by an external company, this was while i was complaining about all the faults i found on way home!
Check all the electrical bits and pieces and I mean all, also if something has broken it does not necessarily mean it will be covered under warranty...... again i have burned fingers on this one! It will be covere under your statutory rights and the sales of goods act but thats where it gets a bit of a grey area...
My issues have been resolved now but its cost me time off work and money to get it fixed and im still finding dubious repairs to paintwork and trim, the car was ex fiat uk and its obviously been tarted up, badly, to get it sold and now im paying to put it right properly!
not wnating to sound doom and gloom just, just check everything out and dont take the dealers word for anything....
and fnally hope you enjoy it if you buy it as it sounds a good price!
