Been to Croydon and back yesterday & today.
No real snarl ups but it was slow by Heathrow coming home tonight.
Anyway, got an excellent 29mpg. Cruised at 85 and adapted this depending on the traffic / conditions on the motorways and stuck to all the variable limits on the M25.
Did some n000rty speeds on the M40 / A46 though
Also impressive was the flexibility and tractability of the engine on the A road that links J7 of the M25 to Croydon. From a steady 35mph and at around 1500 rpm, 6th was just fine
85 to three digits in 6th is also rapid.
Grip and poise, even in the middle of a massive cloudburst leaving tonnes of standing water were faultless.
Comfort as we all know is also excellent. The climate control is brill and the seats are megga. How they get such a good ride with the dropped suspension and the massive wheels is beyond me
Just need to get that damn wiper arm fixed and the on back order for six months paint protection film sorted now
2.2 159 Ti = one hell of a car
