Most Unreliable Car Ever???
My 159 Sportwagon has just been returned to me after it's 9th trip to the dealership since I bought it in November, with the wing mirror glass still hanging off.
The trim keeps falling off
The alarm doesn't work
The rear door and dashboard rattle
The gearstick's loose
The bonnet paint's coming off
The cigar lighter socket fell off
Worst (and most dangerous of all) - the mirrors keep turning up or down as I drive along, and the glass keeps falling out. I have to drive one-handed whilst adjusting the mirrors constantly.
The dealers couldn't care less, and seem to think I'm unreasonable when I question why they keep ordering the wrong parts, or leave me having to spend £50 on taxis to collect my son because they're 2 hours late returning the car. When they grudgingly give me a loan car, it's a filthy diesel 147. No disrespect to 147 owners, but it's not big enough for a family with a lot of luggage to drive to France in, and they could at least clean it first.
Never again. I'm going back to Lexus, Range Rover or BMW. They may be boring, but they look after their customers and get things done in my experience. Why do Alfa despise their customers so much? It's not as though they have massive fleet buyers keeping them in business.
I don't know how you guys cope.
