From your pics, I don't understand why there's £14k of damage. A mashed wing, door, airbag, reset ECU, assorted trim etc...does that come to £14k?

14K does seem excessive just looking at the pics but we cant see the chasis - it could be mangled.

Luke - why not get another LE - plenty about in the system mate.

Ouch 14k seems steep ... I guess you might (as SPP says) have knocked some suspension mounting points out or something.

Sorry to hear your giving up on Alfa ownership.

I've only just picked up on this thread. I'm glad to hear everyone was ok and only the car was damaged.

Regarding Frasers comments above, I drove the Spider on the initial showing at the Alfa Experience day a couple of years ago and managed to get a Spider VERY out of shape on a scorching warm day. It was the Q4 one too and I had a couple of sideways moments. I felt it was less stable than the 159 or Brera.
