Will I notice the difference? Really?
I was drooling over a black Brera S at my local Alfa dealer and although it wasn't the 3.2 I still think aesthetically it was a very good car. The question is, as I probed the salesman and found out all the things you couldn't put in the car, and the things that were most attractive in the options list (IE glass roof, blue and me,telematics etc) were missing, is it really worth it? I mean, when an '07 car is around £20k, and that's v. low mileage and with a spec that includes sat nav etc, will the suspension ehancements and the fact that the new S in not 4WD really count for that much of a difference in overall performance terms/driveability? As it is clear that although the new alloys made me stir a little in the underpant region I can't see what the rest of the package really means and would rather save myself the cash, buy a year old car and give it to Auotdelta to have the full beans plugged in both suspension wise and under the bonnet. Views would be appreciated.
