Collection Advice

My Brera S should be available for collection in 3 or 4 weeks time and I was wondering if there was a list of things that should be checked prior to signing on the dotted line?

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

By the way I have decided not to mess around with the trim colour and leave it as it is, personally I would have preferred the Ti type interior but its not big an issue to spend anymore time worrying about.

Re: Collection Advice

As a private buyer you have very strong consumer rights to the product, just because you accept it (my signing on the dotted line) that doesn't forgo any faults that you subsequently find ...

Good luck on you new car ... hope you enjoy it

Re: Collection Advice

Having just picked up my 159 SW, I would advise that you spend at least 1 hr checking it over with a fine toothcomb, ther are bound to be small details that they feel are OK, but aren't acceptable to you.

Re: Collection Advice

Just picked my 159 up today Just take your time looking round it inside and out; don't let the dealer rush you, it's your car so don't feel you can't point out even the smallest of problems. Hope it's all ok for you

Re: Collection Advice

Would definitley recommend that you check the paintwork carefully around the grill at the front as this can get damaged during transit & with shiney new paintwork is hard to spot!
