Re: Alfa's Reliability
i think Alfa's bad reputation is due to the older Alfa's , i am not knocking the old Alfa's as i love the 155 , sud , sprint etc , but once the word gets out about unreliability unfortunately mud sticks. My advice is ( for what its worth ) is go for an Alfa , the newer the Alfa generally the more reliable. Most problems you tend to get with them anyhow is bolt on electrical parts like bosch etc. These are the same parts that get bolted onto most cars engines. I personally think the arese v6 engine is one of the best engines ever produced ( i know thats a huge statement to make) but i love mine to bits.
Take the plunge and buy an Alfa , once you driven one you'll not give a s**t how reliable or unreliable they are anyway.
At 10,000 rpm , no one can hear you scream.
