Had mine for just over a month now, and I absolutely love it!!! Yes, it does turn heads, far more than anything else I've seen. Quite often see people scoping it out when I'm walking back to it in a car park... talk about feel-good factor!!!
Mine's the 2.4 diesel, 210bhp and it is an extremely well behaved car from behind the wheel. Loads of torque when you need it and a comfortable placid cruiser when you're not ragging the **** off it. Even more feel-good factor, it's the car that just keeps giving.
If you're thinking of getting one, stop thinking but make sure you spec in the Blue&Me system, it's superb. I'd avoid Misano blue though, looks rubbish and doesn't suit the car at all. Really, get it in any other colour.
Hi, got my 08 2.4 brera a couple of weeks ago,the first thing I noticed was all the admiring looks (and the odd dirty ones ) and attention it draws, a couple of times I have parked up and returned to find people looking around it and commenting on how loverly the lines etc are.
The torque from the diesel is "awsome" pulls like a train, I currently average around 40 mpg (motorway driving) too.
I have had no problems at all with any electrics/mechanicals, it drives very smoothly and feels well built (no creeking or rattles).
All in all its a beutiful looking car that is still a rare site on the roads, thats what appealed to me as well, it will make you feel a bit special.
Agree with all the above. I have the 2.2, it's not the fastest but it goes just fine, and it's such a looker that you can't help feel special when your behind the wheel. Per pound spent it's the best value combination of looks, exclusivity and feel good factor you can buy.
