being new to all things brera diesel, this thread puzzles me?
in a few sentences why is the 2.4 diesel so bad on MPG?
it has a good shape, a relitivly small engine, and is no sports car, so where did they go so wrong?
it cant be down to "200+bhp" as that is small for a turbo diesel (relitivly speaking)
i just sold a bmw e60 535 diesel (2007)
she was blisteringly fast, hugely powerfull, and still returned over 45mpg (come what may) and this was a big heavy car (ok had 2 turbos) but still had that great mpg figure.
we love the brera (girlfriends car) but were misslead by the claimed mpg figures.
we are not complaining, as the car ticks nearly every other box, and is vastly better on fuel than the (excellent) nissan 350z we traded in (17mpg)
