Many thanks for the support, this is very much appreciated and clearly demonstrates the balanced opinions found on Forums. I have never posted anything that is not a factual representation of my experience.
The hesitation problem clearly exists, along with another defect I have, and I merely reported my personal experience. I will add that where I have received excellent service, namely Western Alfa in Edinburgh and Alexanders in Stockton, I have posted my thanks and gratitude.
The fact we have so many posts, and so many viewings of this thread bear witness to the strength of feeling. Threats are just that, threats; and I expect the dealer to fix the car they sold me, or issue me a clear and defining statement, backed by an Engineers report, that the car does not have a problem at low revs, is safe to drive, and does not require a remap.
It remains the fact that Holland remap their cars, and that Alfa themselves continuously state they are exploring a fix.
Threatening Customers, requesting Posts on Forums are removed, and taking 3.5 years to resolve a Customer complaint is not, in my opinion, the pragmatic way of resolving a dispute.
My apologies for dragging AO into this, but my thanks for your support.
