Re: 2.2 JTS hesitation - now with new IMPORTANT information & escalation details
I got the 159Ti 2.2 only a few weeks ago, as per the rest of you i didnt notice the hesitation on the demo car.
Last weekend i took it for a long run, but was in bumper to bumper traffic before reaching the freeway. At that point i started relising what you all been talking about here...
At first i thought it was the Hill Holder feature on the car, and was quite fustrated with it, i was going to call the salesman that sold me the car to see if it can be turned off somehow in the setting...
Dont know if anyone has noticed this, but my 159 2.2 has some play on the accelorater pedal , id say about 20 to 25 mm before the engine responds to my touch.... Perhaps this may have something to do with the hestiation me thinks..
Apart from that the Alfa 159Ti 2.2 is awesome to drive. Electirifing acceleration up high , which brings me a smile from ear to ear.
Your thought on the play in the accelerator pedal , can it be adjusted , and if so how?
