Re: Brera "special" project
Wouldn't have much of a problem with a RWD Brera, lightened with more power. But putting FWD on it is a bit simple. Getting very large amounts of power through the front wheels means either much torque steer or much electronic/ mechanical interference. As has been said 4WD 'only' makes a difference cornering and accelerating. In a straight line once wheelspin (did traction control disappear also?) the car will go faster without it. Unfortunately we can't all drive at Santa Pod. In my year long experience of driving a Brera I've found it can corner fantastically well and puts it power down with impeccable manners. An hour or two test drive is unlikely to let you explore this wonderful car fully. I had a demo for a weekend. I had a Merc SLK 350 sitting on the drive. I made my choice.
