That's a problem I've had for a long time now.
Had it re-calibrated last year and it was okay for a time but was back to square one the first time I used it this year
I've found mine has a very simple solution:
the strut on the inside of the hood (passenger side for me) wasn't completely locking-out at the end of the cycle and so the roof stopped with an inch or so to go.
By manually pushing the lever/strut (as described in the owner's manual) the roof is then pushed-out at the rear and it can then be fully closed using the electric button.
I quite often (though not always
) need to do the reverse of this to open it.
So it's a combination of mainly electric and a little manual operation for me.
It doesn't look very cool to do it but at least I've now got 100% confidence in using my roof
You never know, the same thing might work for you.
Of course I'll need to have the main stealers take another 300 quid off me to fully sort it once more when it's time to sell it.
Nobody will want to buy if I try to explain how to use the roof as it is
