Alfa 159 2.4 JTD

159 rear suspension

I have a 06, 2.4, 159 on 18" wheels and the rear suspensions seems to have dropped and become v harsh, so that feel lots of bumps and jolts through through the seat and it's pretty uncomfortable to drive. Tyre pressure ok and shock absorbers don't seem to be seized.

Anyone else had a problem?

There is now a bigger gap between the top of the wheel and the arches at the front (more than 3 fingers) compared to the rear (less than 2 fingers) Is this normal and could someone check their car please?

Re: 159 rear suspension

Since the rear suspension is a multilink design, link pivot failure is much less a possibility than damper collapse is. When one goes it puts a strain on the other one.
