Brera Brakes Concern
I have had my Brera for less then one month so it only has 800 miles on the clock. So far I am really enjoying the car, but I am really not to sure about the brakes, so if any owners could give a second opinion it would be great.
I know the car is quite heavy but the braking system seems to be more unresponsive then I expected - I had a passat loan car before and the brakes felt loads better and more powerful to pull the car to a stop. For example;
1. If I brake fairly hard I note that as I increase the pressure to bring the car to a halt I can feel a judder and what feels metal shuddering or something loose- now this may be the ABS kicking in, but somehow it just does not feel healthy to me, but maybe this is me being to sensitive.
2. When at a standstill I find that I can depress the brake pedal all the way down - whilst doing this I can clearly here Air escaping or at the least something decompressing. All car braking I have experienced before only allows about 4-5 inches of movement until it increments the pressure to point that the pedal will not give any more.
Any feedback would be well appreciated. It is a lease car, so I will call the lease company tomorrow and see if they will get a alfa garage to take a look as it is concerning me somewhat.
Thanks in advance for any replies,
