Hi all,

It's time to leave the fold as I've just recieved a company car.
My 159 has been a very loyal servant over the last 5 years and 135k and I'm sad to see it go.

Its probably a long shot due to the age and mileage of the car but it will be needing a new home.

159 2.4 lusso 2006 200bhp saloon.
Stromboli grey
Red leather interior
167k miles 80% motorway
AHM Remap dpf/ EGR delete
Mot expires mid November '16
New tyres and brakes all round.
Pioneer sph-da120 head unit with functioning steering wheel controls and apple car play (8months old)
18" ti wheels with new tires.
The car is currently on a private plate which is not included.
Regular service by a family mechanic.
New crankshaft pulley, belt and aux belt

As it stands there is a few faults which, due to a house purchase and the use of a new car I'm unable to warrent repairing.

NSF wheel bearing
Turbo is showing signs of leaking seals
Swirl flaps need removing / plugging or replacement manifold.
NSR window regulator.
Dented osr 1/4 (quoted to repair at £550)

Hopefully someone who is familiar with a spanner or would like to use any of the remainder of the parts for cheap maintenance may be interested.

I'm looking sell complete but will sell the head unit seperatly.

If there's no interest it will be on eBay at no reserve. Any offers considered.

Located near Guildford Surrey.

Chris.

:scratchchin: Pretty sure he means £300 for the headunit....

But if not could I get those 18" Ti wheels for £100 ^^ ? Can swap with my 18" multi-spokes.

Email is josephpeacock@hotmail.co.uk if I'am in luck :), would also collect them / pay postage.

Thanks Chris, very interested in those. Like I said, we can swap ours. Mine have just been refurbed in dark anthracite minus some minor kerbing. I live in Hertford but am happy to travel to collect.

Mine also have brand new tyres on since last month so buyer will atleast get a decent refurb and new tyres.

Cheers.

If you're considering selling it so low and it needs work, sell bits you can then scrap. Call a few different scrap yards and tell them car make /model.

When I scrapped 147 they paid on basis I could drive it in. Other than it running condition didn't matter and in fact they paid out at office without looking at car.

Thanks lotok. Just called my local dealer again. They said £70 for the car even though it's a runner. I've been advised the same by an old friend that knows the market for that kind of stuff.

For the time and effort to sell off the good parts i would be better off doing a weekends overtime at my day job.

Mike, yes the car runs, just With the faults mentioned in the op, it's a tad down on power and a little smokey but otherwise fine.
