HI, I would just like to let you Southerners know about TH Performance based in Havant in Hampshire (near Portsmouth). He has just done a rolling road remap on my 2.4 Brera and what a difference. I cleaned out the DPF and blanked the EGR myself and gave it to Terry to sort the rest. I can post the tech sheet if there is interest but the figures read like this 258.6bhp engine power, 220.7bhp at the wheels and the important one 613.9nm of torque. There is no flat spot below 2k and it just pulls everywhere (just like it was designed to). I am so pleased with the results and the grin factor now is addictive. If you are interested give Terry a phone on 02392*473443 or check his website thperformance.co.uk .
The figures before the remap looked like this. 203.8bhp, 166.1bhp at the wheel and 465.7nm which isn't bad for a 48k motor. So it equates to about a 30% increase in torque. Happy days.?
Yeah I have the before and after figures, unfortunatley the forum will not let me post the whole sheet due to size so I will just try and show the important figures but if you want to see the complete sheet I will sort a drop box or get them to you some how..
To be honest my business is right next to Terry so it was done as a bit of a as and when job so now he knows what is entailed I suggest give him a phone and get a price for the remap and rolling road work. The egr blank I did myself 40 minute job and the dpf clean out was done by a local garage although Terry might well do these as well. What ever he quotes it is worth every penny as it makes the car complete.
Unfortunatley it is the forum reducing the resolution and not the photos. I will endeavour to post a Dropbox link or send me a message with your email and I will forward them on. As a newbie I can't message you..
With the attachments, the ambient air/ intake air figures of the after results have been clipped off. Although on screen shots earlier, before figures look to be high 20s degC (although very blurry), and after figures are showing 14 degC.
I wouldn't dispute the overall afterwards result, but it does look like the RR operator has deliberately skewed the calibration to show an excess in gain from before and after?
As I said on previous post the job has been done on a "as and when basis" so there is a few weeks between these reports. All I know is the cars performance has been greatly improved and it now goes like it looks..
I am from Portsmouth - Interesting to see there is someone just up the road who can do this! Did they do an EGR delete on the ECU as well as the blanking plate?
Whats the big spike in the middle? And why only rev it up to 3400rpm on the after dyno print when it reved to 4400rpm on the before?
