159 ti seat repair?

Hi all
I've got a tear in the seat on my 159 ti and was wondering if anyone had experienced a similar thing and what the best plan might be to fix.
Is it possible to get a new piece to replace the damaged one or is a case of trying to get it fixed by a car upholsterer?
Here's what I've got:

Thanks for any advice
Steve

Hi Apparently this is quite common as this panel is vinyl not leather. Same thing happened on mine. Unless you want to spend a shed load of money there is no good fix. I did mine by poking some fabric behind the splits and evo sticking the vinyl to the fabric then using a leather repair kit from ebay to fill the gaps and match the color ish. Its not great but its better than it was and cost around 20 as apposed to 150+ for a proper repair.

I had exactly the same issue. I took it to TFI motor trimemers in Exeter and they replace the panel and beading with genuine leather for 180. Should find a local trimmer to do the same for you.
