Can't find 159 aux source

Hi guys,

maybe a stupid question but I would need your help in finding Alfa 159's aux source input from the original Alfa Romeo CD/radio (159 2.2 JTS 2006 with Bose subwoofer). I have already done and connected my DIY aux cable for iPhone but now I don't know how to select AUX option from the cd player. I tried the "src/scan" button that only selects between CD and radio and doesn't show any AUX option there. Where do I find the AUX option?

Thanks in advance!

Not all head units have the 'Aux' function. You need to look at the pin outs in the rear of the head unit, if there is only 1 pin for the yellow connector then I don't think you can attach an Aux device.

Thanks nogrip for quick reply. I have exactly the same pin outs as in the screenshot you sent. So in that case looks like my car does not support the aux input which was a surprise for me. Is there any other way to connect iPhone to the car in such a case? I know that there are different kind of FM transmitters on the markets but the sound quality of those do not convince me.
