Headlight removal

Is it easy to remove the headlights on a 159?

I needed to change the sidelight bulb and in doing so, broke the clip that it attaches too on one side and then dropped the bulb in the lens on the other

I can't get the bulb out now as the little handle-thingy has dropped behind the headlight somewhere.

Please tell me i don't have to remove the bumper.

Thanks in advance./

Just seen an elearn doc explaining how to remove bumper. Doesn't seem that difficult.

While we are on it... will I have to disconnect the battery when removing the headlights?
I have the Bi-Xenon lights...

Bumper off is not that a big deal - easier if undertray is off or at least lowered at the front for when you refit.
I do not disconnect battery but dont have Bi-Xenons. Pull the power supply fuse to them and should be ok.

Quick update... with a bit of fondling i managed to get hold of the bulb that dropped and also managed to change the bulb where the clip had broken.

No bumper removed!

Thanks for the advice!
