Rust Scab?

Just starting to notice on my tailgate where the rear window comes to point at the badge that water must be collecting, which has now managed to creep beneath the paint work and create a small line of rust scabs.
My rear window bond was never applied correct at the factory. Probably was fitted close to knocking off time on a Friday, or first thing on a Monday morning after a heavy stag do.

Has anyone else with a ten year old or close to that have any rust issue on their Brera or 159 yet? Mine could be treated, but I maybe on the hunt for a missano blue one soon.

Someone else' thread, but I had some surface rust behind the badge years ago. I treated it and dribbled waxoyle behind and it never returned.
