no power at low rpm

Hello from Slovenia,

first i would like to apologize if my English will not be perfect.

i am searching for some answers on Slovenian and other Balkan forums but with no success.

i found your site and it is very helpful, but i would be very grateful if you could help mi with my issue.

so let me start ....

i am an AR 159, 1,9 jtdm 150hp owner. Chip tunning was done, EGR blanked and erased from the computer. DPF also.

for some months now i am noticing that my motor has no power at low rpm. over the 2500rpm it jumps as it should

we have tried the following:

replacing vacuum tubes did not help. intake manifold is new. disconnecting the MAF sensor did not help.

over boost valve is also new.

the most interesting thing is that when we bypassed (vaccum tubes) the over boost valve(pierburg) the motor runs as it should, power at low reps.

we thought that the new pierburg valve is faulty, so i tried a new one, and as we conected the new one, the motor again lost power at low reps.

does anybody have any idea why is this happening?

when overboost is bypassed the motor has power and when conected to overboost valve it has no power at low reps.?

do you have any idea why this is happening?

any ideas what i could try

is it a turbo issue or something else?

thank you very much

best regards

So you put vacuum straight from the vacuumpump to VNT to keep it at low position? I have very close to same problem with mine, with no low power & have tried almost anything. Although i have measured vacuum is on between Pierburg & turbo when engine is running.

Do you have MES? Does yours also ask for very low MAF when engine is >80 C?
