I decided to buy a masonry bit today and attack the DPF core on my 159 2.4 JTDm Ti.
Didn't take too long and the results are immediately noticeable - a freer revving engine, quicker spool to boost, and smoother idle and run under throttle.
Hopefully, economy will be improved as well. I fully blanked off the EGR last week.
Just gotta source a DPF/EGR delete error-free dongle from someone/somewhere now.
Would recommend you ever so often plus MES onto it & deletes history of clogging until you get the dongle...
She will start smoking like you never seen before if a regen takes place without the DPF (Tried that on the Autobahn in Germany a couple of years ago..People were quite insistent to get my notice & show something were wrong as they passed by & couldnt really see anything but a white wall through rear mirror)
