Exclamation 159 2,4 jtdm does not start, fuel pump relay clicking fast

hello

yesterday i parked my 159 at home just like usually without any signs of trouble
today i wanted to drive it and after putting the key in, it started to write to the dashboard that ABS, ASR and VDC is not available. i tried to crank it and then this started to
1. the fuel pump relay is clicking fast
2. the engine check light blicking ultra fast
3. the turbo gauge gone crazy jumping up and down, without the engine being started

so i wen tto the shop to pickupa new battery as i suspected it to be the cause - no help
i tried to change the fuel pump relay - still the same

checkout these videos
https://www.dropbox.com/s/17ok7qmqek...50.22.mov?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/q1u6c0gewm...20.50.mov?dl=0

if i turn on the big lights the clicking stops, perhaps because of lack of energy
i tried to connect to the ECU with Multiecuscan as i do usually without any problems and it fails to connect.
any advice on what might be going on please?

The other part of the battery circuit is the earth leads. Have a look at those.

As with all Alfa's check out all the connections, earths are a favourite failure but they can be sneaky.

Have you taken the battery tray out and disconnected the earths to clean them?
While I was thinking about this have you checked the relay, I had a failure very similar on a different car.

so i checked all the cables and removed all relays and fuses, swapped the relays and no help

can it be short circuited starter motor or alternator?

got it sorted today.
i found out that there was no +12V going from the grey fuse and relay box to the ECU, so i created a 12V bypass straight from the battery and the ECU showed up in the Multiecuscan. then tried to fire it up and there she was alive. disabled the bypass and it works like a charm. i suspect one of the relays to be sticked which has been perhaps sorted by starting and stopping the engine. i am gonna replace them. any tips for the new relays ? which brand to buy?
