loose, unknown electrical contact behind wheel arch

Hi All,

I noticed yesterday there is an electrical connector which pokes through the wheel arch lining from the engine side just in front of the front wheels, but on the 'inside' of them. I have a 159 2.4 qtronic

photos attached.

I feel like it probably is meant to be connected to something.....anybody any ideas?

Everything works, traction control, ABS etc...

Pictures seem to have rotated, needs to be 90 clockwise....

On the nearside?

I've got one too - appears to come from the same bit of loom as the screen washer motor - so I figured it's either for a headlamp washer pump (if they fitted such a thing on 159s?) or an alternative plug for a different make of washer pump?
