Out with the old silver dash console and in with a grey one

Just replaced the original silver dash with a secondhand grey one. I think the later cars looked much better in grey. Need to get the gearstick console in grey now...

Looks really nice, how much did it cost to buy these trims?

35 from an ebay dealer. I still need the gearstick console but the only one I could find was 75 and that seems an awful lot for not much plastic...

You could have just wrapped it, like I did.. then you wouldn't need the gearbox piece now..

Can you wrap the standard ribbed dash and have it look decent? I'd like to have a go but wouldn't like to go through the trouble of wrapping all trims only to then find one piece bubbling / flaking back a few weeks later.

Looks good. Where did you get the wrap from?

It's 3M black brushed aluminum vinyl - you can get it at any vehicle wrapping place.
I would however not attempt doing the wrapping myself - it gets tricky around the buttons on the gearlever console and the dials and vents - best to pay the professionals to do it.

How much was it to wrap if you don't mind me asking?
Did you do all the other trims too?

I hope you don't mind me asking what you search for on ebay. I feel like I have tried all words but with no luck. I am also looking for the exact same dashboard and trim pieces as you have just installed in your car.

If you put this search into YouTube you should get the film..

"Alfa 159 remove centre console, radio and heater control panel"

Regarding finding the part I just searched on ebay for something like 159 or Brera console... They don't come up very often though..
