Just bought a Brera!

After 7 years of happy Mito ownership, I took the plunge and bought a 2.2 Brera!

Apart from enjoying driving it, what should I do?! I feel like I want to buy a whole host of specialist cleaning equipment etc!

PS my iPad autocorrect changed "a Brera" to "aberration"...!!

All you need do is add enjoyment. Though that will probably come with the car

Be nice. Think positive, think glass half full. It's a car, it'll break because they all do.
My luck recently leads me to believe I should take up Golf and Cannabis.

Golf = I can't hit the ball for toffee. It's like my Italian Stallions in that they're there (like the clubs and membership fee) but I can't drive them because they're broke/garage for repair. My golf clubs would stay in the closet whilst they lost money along with my club fees.

Cannabis = A complete and utter waste of life and money. Just incase I did not lose enough money in golfing fees the cannabis addiction would take care of that extra money.

Priorities I find, are usually someone else's.
Statements above are all my own opinion and not fact.

I thought you had to be a German sedan driver to spend all day getting a little ball in a hole

Yep Brera's are a real money pit, 3 years, 40K miles and apart from services its had to have a drive shaft, a timing chain and now the bleed screw on the coolant hose, I'm sooooooo disappointed with the reliability.

Being ever so serious. Cars do often have design flaws however my opinion is that the biggest cause of problems are owners. Past and present. Maintenance and how they are treated. That includes DIY mechanics and professional.

In my case I naturally blame the previous

The problem is you're not taking note of the smilies that accompany my posts.

Or to be serious I could refer you to this sticky:

One week in, and no problems as such. The only weird thing at the moment is if I turn the blower temperature down from "16" to "LO" it goes all guns blazing with all blowers seemingly going to max output and causing a lot of noise! Weird.

16 is the lowest it goes, after that it's just pumping as much cold out as it possibly can.
i leave mine on full auto , seems to do a good job. also worth having the system serviced.
