suspension upgrade question....

Hi All,

forgive my ignorance of detailed suspension knowledge....I read a lot of threads about peoples suspension upgrades and things.....

I'd like to eliminate/reduce some of the leaning/body roll on my 2.4 159 sw lusso, but I don't want to compromise/reduce the comfort of the ride in normal conditions.....I definitely don't want a harder ride in general.

Is this something that is achievable or am I barking up the wrong tree here?

Cheers

I know you can buy Eibach springs on ebay for about 130-180, I assume they are ok to use with the OEM dampeners, I just don't know if it would make enough of an improvement. I've been thinking about this myself.

Garage
There is a very long thread on it ( use the search), but eibachs can be had for 99, and get a set of Bilstein b4 to go with it

Springs or shock absorbers will affect the ride. But uprating the anti-roll bar will deal with roll in corners. It will also make the car understeer more,

On my car I have softened the front springs to improve the ride and give less understeer. Roll is often confused with understeer. ie you won't care about roll if the car oversteers,

Brera 2.2 JTS

I've fitted Eibachs and Bilstein B4's to my Brera 2.2 and originally it raised the car a couple of inches. After a bit of recalibrating of the springs I finally got things sorted courtesy of Autolusso and a company called coilsprings.co.uk in Shefield. 2.4 is a different setup but you should be able to greatly improve things with a bit of work.
