USB Socket Uses

Ive got a 2011 159 and was wondering what it can be used for ie is it for updating the cars software or does it allow you to plug in say a usb stick and play audio directly from that? I did try charging my phone from it and it seemed pretty useless but i was using the sat nav at the same time

IIRC Blue&Me won't recognise the NTFS file system. Reformat the drive using FAT32.

Another Win10 fail.

You should be able to format it on your Android phone if
it supports OTG USB drives.
