Another successful roadtrip!
Just returned at the weekend from another trip to the South of France in the Brera, just short of 1700 miles round trip. That is the second time to the SoF for the Brera plus a trip to Italy a couple of years ago and a short trip to the Loire last year for the 939 Spider. Never any problems both cars running perfectly.
On an extended note, folks wax lyrical about the Swiss/Italian passes, but take it from me, driving through the Massif Central and Provence can be extremely rewarding and every bit as challenging as the more popular passes.
Someone said to me, "so whats so special about an Alfa Romeo then?" I told him, "If you have to ask, you wont understand".
Driving Brera S 2.2, wife drives 939 Spider 2.2, plus now a 147 1.6 TS whilst the Spider hibernates and there is a 1972 Spider 2000 S2 in the garage for fun days.
