159 2.2 JTS Selespeed Engine Problem

I have recently had my clutch changed on my alfa and now I have the following problems that I hope someone can point me in the right direction with. The clutch was changed by an Alfa specialist and it will be going back to them on Thursday but I would like to have some idea on what could be the problem in case they try and fob me off.

1. From a standing start it takes almost 3000 revs for the car to get moving (forward or reverse).
2. When changing gear there is a lag (sometimes 1-2 seconds) from the gear changing on the dashboard to the engine putting drive to the wheels. When it sport mode the gear change speed is the same timing as it would be in normal mode, whereas before it was super fast.
3. When stuck in a jam the stop start nature of the jam means after 30 minutes I can start to smell the clutch getting hot!!

Thanks

When they fitted the clutch did they use diagnostics to do a clutch bite point learn?

Another symptom that has arisen is that when I am driving the water temperature is 70c. When I stop at the lights or in jam it rises to 90 within about a minute. Can easily watch it rising. The garage replaced the over and under hoses as part of the clutch change as they said they were leaking.
Could they be connected problems?
Thanks

Was a new clutch kit fitted or just the clutch plate itself? People will often suggest having the DMF replaced with the clutch particularly if it has enough play in it.
Would also be worth plugging it into diagnostic software to help narrow it down.

It was just the clutch plate as last one was worn down.
What is the clutch kit and DMF out of interest?

Dual Mass Flywheel, although I'm not an expert some suggest replacing it while doing the clutch if it has enough play in it - perhaps somebody else can clarify?
But a good first step would be to get it plugged into some diagnostic software, since it could be something else.

Well it came back today and they said they re-calibrated the clutch using software and all seems to be back to normal thankfully. Makes you wonder why they didn't do it to start with when they changed it.
As for the water temperature going up and down like "whores drawers" this is apparently a faulty aircon compressor which is 700 euro to change!!
