Brera - clunking noise from brakes!

Hi, my Brera has developed a sort of sharp 'clunking' sound, when the brakes are applied. Sounds like it is coming from the o/s/f area - any ideas?

Just in case anybody experiences the same........ The fix was to remove the pads and clean the caliper, in the areas where the pad mounts. Then copaslip was carefully applied in those locations, and all put back together again - job done! I think the cause was dirt and/or disc rust that had got into the caliper pad mounting locations, causing the pad to 'clunk' each time the pedal was applied, as the pad overcame the debris and contacted the disc.
