Alfa 159 OEM Mud Flaps Fitted

I didn't want to post any pictures of my new car until I've had chance to give it the full clean and polish, but thought I'd post some up of my new Alfa Parts Mud Flaps I fitted today.

Whilst not a perfect fit thanks to the Ti Sideskirts being in place, the addition of a extra screw to secure the front flaps tight to the sideskirt makes them look like a direct fit.

I like the new look makes the car have a slightly more aggressive wider stance and will help minimise the dreaded stone chips.

Apologies for the dodgy iPhone poor quality pics...

Looks good, did you just use a self-tapper into the sill?

I bought mine off Partsworld for £93 for the front and rears but now aware they are possibly cheaper from main dealers

Does the rear bumper sit snug into the mudflaps which or does it just rest on them? I have a set of OE mudflaps which seem to have a recess for the bumper to sit in but seems slightly than the bumper edge

The rear flaps have a groove in them that the rear bumper edge fits into it's a tight fit and takes some fiddling to get them in and aligned properly but helps ensure the flaps stay in place properly.

The front flaps are shaped to fit the front inner wing contours and are held in place mainly by some bloody awkward clips that are a completely **** to fit.

How much do you think it would cost to respray the rear arches when they get peppered by stone chips? That was my rationale!

I also got these front ones fitted on my Brera - they fit perfectly (I think they had to drill one small hole in the wheel liner but no real drama).

Walfa, £52 will just be for the front Pro-drive ones (without fitting, and I suspect without VAT); the OP has got the fronts and backs.

I think my 159 fronts cost £36 plus fitting.

Yes £52 just front set only and I don't need the rear set. I dont need to pay the VAT for export item.
Commanderfish, £36 is the price of OEN or Prodrive?

I fitted these to my car also during the summer and find they are only really an aesthetic addition as they don't actually keep the dirt off my car as much as I was expecting. I would say there is a marginal improvement probably due to the proximity of the bottom of the front mudflaps to the car bodywork. They don't actually protrude from the wheel arch very far. I recently fitted mudflaps to my wife's Astra which made a huge difference to the amount of crud stuck to the sides. Clumps of dirt just don't get flung onto her bodywork anymore.
