actually spoked rims are better winter rims than "weird" designs than the classic alfa hole/horseshoe because snow doesn't get stuck between spokes as easily as it gets in the "horseshoes"... and trust me, frozen snow inside wheels is really nasty and it makes the car shake at speed as if the wheels aren't balanced. anyway, it's all in the tires you use
wasn't a digg mate, just saying there nice - too nice for winter wheels .

I like them - but I also think that they are an aquired taste. I bought a 159 with a set on and at first I wasn't quite sure. Now I really like them.

Yeah, I love them personally. They just seem a little bit more sophisticated to my eyes.

An Aston Martin DB5 would look just great in them - where-as the horse shoe style would look ridiculous.

Same goes for the colour too to me. Silver just seems - I dunno. A little more elegant. I never intended to go with silver, and never dreamed I would, but **** am I glad I did now.

I'm totally besotted.

Wouldn't disagree with any of that. Just a bit of a pig to clean

These are now mine (19" prodrive version of the 8C alloy) subject to a long drive to collect them...

Anyone in the East Midlands area interested in a set of 18" horseshoes should drop me a PM.

Nice alloys uczmeg and congrats.

I was going to buy these exact wheels but decided against it.

Would love to see how they look on your Brera.

Look forward to the pics.

Thanks. Will probably be a couple of weeks before I can pick them up, but pics will come.

I would have gone for silver, but couldn't get anywhere near the same deal! I think it will work with my darkish grey. Think I'm going to have to paint my callipers red at some point now...

Anyone seen/got a Spider with the Brera S wheels? I bet a white one would look pretty cool too.

Whoooohoooooo!
Just done a deal with uczmeg and I will be having a set of 18 inch Horseshoe alloys! Get in.
Unfortunately I will have to wait a few weeks until he has the new S wheels fitted.

Can't wait to get these on my 159!
