'Er indoors has one too. Etna black is an odd colour because sometimes it just looks gloss black and then the wheels would match and others it looks almost raspberry and then they wouldn't.
I reckon the 5 hole horseshoes would look good done like the autodelta horseshoes (gloss black, polished face). IMHO of course!

Very hard to find Brera S wheels in silver without purchasing through the nose from dealerships.
Does that mean you can find them in anthracite at a more reasonable price?

They're around the same price at a dealer's.
Spotted an anthracite set on ebay a few months back for 600 pounds.
A new set from partsworld will set you back around 1330 pounds.

Yes but just think how much you could recover when you sold your 'horseshoes'

Beautiful. It makes me want to go outside and polish my car. Been a bit lax with the recent weather...

That looks smart mate. Really suits the silver body.

Hey, Cas
Judging by the state of the roads around here, 17" with a higher profile is the sensible option!
We have the 19" ti's on our Spider and drive it very gingerly at the mo
First time out in my 18" equipped GTA, last year, I hit a pothole and bust a tyre
Tyres on the 19" are £200 a corner

Oggy!
I think you're right about the roads! Although not even sensible wheels/tyres can work the miracles required on the surfaces around here
I do agree that the 17"s just don't "set off" the car as well as the bigger wheels -- however, every time I've got close to upgrading them, I've found something I'd rather spend the money on. A year on from buying the car with the intention of changing them sharpish -- I've got used to them.
In fact, they've dropped down the priority list to just above 'personalised registration'. I'm more concerned with making the car go faster and (sound) better.

Eyes are open for a set of 18 in horseshoes. They look the business to me. Drooooolll...

I think 19" TI wheels win from an aesthetic point of view, but the standard 17" ones are more comforable in my experience, and the tyres are a lot cheaper too.

OK it's not my car, but the 8C wheels just have to be the best Alfa wheels available. I wonder what size they are

8C wheels 007.jpg
I started with the 18" wire /multi spokes but spent far, far too much time cleaning them. I still think that they are the best looking wheels ( esp. impressed with andypj's silver 159 plus wires ) but I reckon that these 18" S/8c replicas are a pretty good compromise between looks, cost and practicality.

Car came with the 'standard' 17" multi-spokes, but I acquired a used set of 18" multi-spokes soon after. Judging by the state of them, the previous owner had 'parked by feel' most of the time but as they didn't cost me anything (straight swap for the 17s, ) I couldn't really complain. Had them refurbished and powder-coated 'Steel Grey', to contrast with the Vesuvio Grey bodywork, at a cost of £45 each.
Now thinking about getting a set of 19"ers, but as they'd be coming already attached to a Ti that could be cheating a little as far as upgrading your alloys goes.

That looks mean, but in a good way!
