Screenwash level warning light

Any Brera owners out there (Spider and 159 presumably too) discovered that there is only a screenwash level warning sensor on the cars with headlamp washers?

How daft is that? I still need to know when I am about to run out of screenwash - even though (or perhaps more because of the fact that) I don't run out so often.

My first Brera (with Xenons) had the warning indicator and I miss it in my new one.

Irritatingly they still have the lamp fitted.

How pants is that?

Yup first I know about my screen wash being low is when it runs out Decidedly shi-ite that

So now I top it up all the time

I have the (pointless) headlamp washers and have definately got the warning light - coz its always coming on!

If the car has HID's it must have headlamp washers with a water level warning.

So its 'must have' otherwise its not there.

I have the washers but not the xenon's
They were available as a seperate option which sadly for me the previous owner chose over b&m

Yeah but the washers are set up for Xenon, if you know what I mean.

The washers are a pain. I found I got through so much screen wash AND I had huge streaks on the bonnet. This is not an Alfa-specific gripe, of course! Anyway, for that reason I chose not to have Xenons on my new Brera.

I had this problem on the GTA until I decided to remove the fuse that operated the headlight washers!

Yes, bit of an oversight on a 30K car
