Sooooooooooo frustrating knowing it's there waiting for you but you can't have it, isn't it!

Ah well, it was worth an ask. Anyone else, fancy a full size spare wheel or need your 17"s refurbing? I'll sell the rims separately for £60 a piece, or all 4 for £200, these are brand new don't forget
Anyone with 18" or 19" wheels fancy a set for winter? Keep your big wheels looking good for the summer?
I should be a salesman

Re: Anyone got their MY08 159 yet?
I found out today my 2.4 Lusso is scheduled for build in week 25 (Commencing June 16th) and I should have it for the end of July. That is of course, if the lazy, workshy Italians don't go on strike again! I've solved my unpainted wingmirror problem too; the Ti 'satin chrome' covers are only £18 + VAT each - a hell of a lot cheaper than getting some sprayed up. Please don't think of me as a Ti wannabe... although I am!

Re: Anyone got their MY08 159 yet?
Yet another missed delivery deadline , they're now sayin Mon or tues.
the laatest brilliant exscuse was the delivery lorry set off with several vehicles on but they didn't know which dealers they were going to first and they couldn't contact the driver
so if anyone fancies some nice shiny new motors, he must be parked up in a layby somewhere !

Like you I am not a Ti wannabe although I would love one...I believe I will have the unpainted wingmirrors as I went for solid black, the Ti covers sound like a good idea, I realy don't think I can live with unpainted mirrors. Mine is a company car if it was mine I would have them painted however I have got to live with it for 3 years so 18 quid sounds like a good deal. Where have you got that price from? Are they just covers? Does the dealer need to fit them or are they DIY?

The quote is from the main dealer. Mine's a company car too and I wouldn't mind spending the money on getting them painted if it was my own. I'm sure the dealer will fit them for you as they are essentially just replacement covers. As far as I know, the standard ones are 'clipped' on so you should be able to do it yourself if needs be.

Re: Anyone got their MY08 159 yet?
All this talk about wheels - 16", 17", 18", 19". I was following one of these the other day - just look at the rims on that...

Re: Anyone got their MY08 159 yet?
Just been told mine is being held up in PDI because someone at the factory forgot to put the alloy center caps, the radio aerial and the manuals in the car! Apparently they usually put them in a bag which is left in the boot, but mine was missing This now means they have to order a replacement bag from Italy. On the plus side, Whitequay have offered to lend me a car to bridge the gap between the sale of my 156 and the arrival of my Ti which they expect to be in the first week of June
