Just found out my 159 should be in the country by mid-week, next week. And The dealer will have it by the following Friday..
So about another two weeks or so to go ...

ordered mine back end of October last year
just been told at the weekend it is being built as we speak
there giving me £300 worth of vouchers to spend on alfa gear because of the long wait
never mind it will be worth the wait

Yep. All too aware. I read the factory closure notice on the Internet literally the night after I placed the order in December. Thus I've reached the point now that I'm so frustrated at the wait I'm posting threads on the forums hoping for some vicarious living!

That's nothing...ordered mine end September (26 weeks)and I've been told they've just re-ordered it...another 12 weeks

Still waiting on the delivery of my baby (will be for next week I suppose). I did get some pictures of the 159 2.4 Jtdm MY08 from a french owner who just received it.

Hi,
Went to the dealer and took some pics of the 159 1.9 Jtdm 16v Distinctive.
Tested the opening of the trunk. This is an electrical mechanism. You only need to press the logo a few mm.

Lookin' good. Same colours as the JTS I've got coming, so it's good to see what the red leather looks like. The new seat design reminds me of my old TA22 Celica actually! ...but that's a good thing! Loved that car while I was a student. Except the Celica's were :cough: vinyl.

I'm just back from taking my boss to sign the paperwork for my new 159. The salaesman confirmed that the car was built last week and should be with us in 4 weeks (gonna be a long 4 weeks though).
it's the first time my boss has seen a 159 and as we were leaving the garage he said "I'm going to get a ton of grief from the other guys at work". I reckon because they will be jealous ( Like I give a ****)
