Well to say the original 156 came out late 1997 and it took them til 2002 to get a 156 GTA out, I think we've got a good year or so left to wait for the 159 GTA.

The New 159 GTA?!

Hey guy's,

Whilst surfing around Piston Heads I came across this:

PistonHeads Headlines

Well, what do we reckon?

From the You Tube video that's on there I seriously doubt that this is the new GTA, but it still looks cool though,

A couple of things that put me off of this being a genuine GTA is firstly the way in which the exhaust cuts into the bumper have been savagely done, and secondly I'm not sure those vents in the side are actually doing anything,

What do you lot think?

Darren

I saw this in December 2006 at the Balocco Test Track when they were testing it, it did sound like a V8 and it came past us a full tilt on a few occasions and it goes like the clappers. We were driving V6 Spider round the oval and while I know they are not that fast, this left us standing. We couldn't find out too much about it or get close to it. Whether its a tester for the GTA I don't know but its not a fake!

The U-Tube video isnt at the Nurburgring, its at Balocco, if you look at the plates on the Ducato minibus and the Lancia to the right.
Its not that camoflaged because its not in public view, but the guy who took the video did far better than me.

There are some subtle things to see on the vid, like the Brera front bumper!
