Re: 155 V6 Cambelts
I'm fairly handy myself and have carried out many ground up restorations of Triumph Stags. All the work on the Alfa so far has been done by me so I think I will tackle the job myself. The only concerns I had was from hearing horror stories from various people in the past about this sort of thing. The only engine I have taken heads off in the past is the BMW straight six. I think it will be educational for me to do the job and give some confidence. You need to know as much about your own car as possible I think. On some engines the timing marks are not that visible so that was putting me off initially. I'll just mark it myself if I can't find any.
Thanks for all you advice. I know I shouldn't leave it any onger now.
