I've been in denial for ages
but I'm coming to the conclusion that Tarquini is leaking a bit...
I'll have my matey mechanic give the coolant a poke, to see if he finds anything dodgy in there (it looks very clean though...) but if my fears are confirmed, I'll have to fix the beast.
I had new head gaskets fitted just (?) 60,000 miles ago. I can't remember the brand but nothing remarkable) and I don't want to repeat the job yet again in another 60,000 miles.
Last time Matey had the head skimmed true and did a thorough job.. changed the cam-belt too... so I don't think it was badly done.. I can only imagine that the strains of the dying radiator (ran hot for a while
) last winter was too much for the gasket and it packed up.
Anyway, I want to put the best gasket in the world in there... that should take Tarquini well into his old age. Or at least to the next cam belt change (72,000 miles v6
But what's the best one? Genuine Part..? Spesso...? Or another? And where can I get it?
