Spark jumping across coils
The 155 has been fully fixed up and has been running great recently. Too good to be true obviously because it started to run like crap this morning. Car is not idling well due to alot of misfiring, although it seems to have all its power at higher revs.
I could hear some arcing so I took of the cover and had a look at the coils and I can see that on cylinder 1 and 2 I can see a spark jumping between the coil packs and the plug leads for the small plugs, even in broad daylight.
I've examined both plug leads and there is no damage that I can see to the rubber outside bit.
The sparking is much worse when I rev the engine suddenly from low revs.
I'm dubious that both plug leads/coils have gone faulty at the same time so is there anything anyone can think of that could be causing this spark jumping?
I've checked that all the leads/coils are pushed down correctly on the plugs and there is no oil in the plug-wells.
Thanks in advance,
