Suspension Question! Again!
Another question involving shocks and springs - my '94 155 8v 2.0TS desperately needs some!
I think as I am having such difficulty finding standard springs for the car, I may have to revert to lowering springs. Are these acceptable to fit though with standard dampers? I understand that PI and GMAX offer a full set of lowering springs with a 35mm drop for around £90, but my main concern is the rear tyres scraping on the arches - which it is already doing - I hope by fitting the new trailing arm bushes will cure this though. I own a Lancia Delta HF Turbo, and had this lowered 35mm - every single suspension component was replaced front and rear, and the car is running on standard wheels, normal size tyres and still the tyres hit the rear arches with a third passenger!
I have also heard of bump stops - a friend advised me to use these on the rear suspension, although I have no idea what size I would need - so if anyone has faced this long winded issue before - could you please get in touch and give me some advice!!!!
