155 Brake Pressure Problem
I have a slight problem with my 155 V6 brakes. I have bled them many times and had the calipers and master cylinder rebuilt. What I find is that with the engine switched off, I can pump the pedal and create pressure in the system which should mean all is ok. However, when I start the car the pedal is very light and travels (in my opinion) too far. I'm sure it has not always been like this and I suspect it is something to do with the car not being used enough. When driving, the car does come to a sharpish stop and I can even activate the ABS if I push it really hard. The pedal just travels too far for my liking and no one I know can fix this. There is an Alfa specialist I know who will look at my car in a couple of weeks, it just that he will charge an arm and a leg just for looking at it. Can anyone help me please?
