I have reserched about my heater only working on high & it appers that the Resistor pack is no good.I know where it is & how to get it out ,but do not know what to to with it after that,Can the insides be replaced by standard auto store items or do you have to buy a OEM part(whole pack)
If i have to go to OEM ,what is the part Number ?
note: its clearly not the same as the one in the link above.must be differant between the dial control models & the push button ones.
(mines a push button one)
after removing it there is no fan at all so it must have something to do with it.
Where exactly is it situated and how accessible is it My blower is constantly on even when key is removed .I have been told that this is a resistor pack problem. Can anyone enlighten me ?
In a 155 the resistor unit is right next to the fan (in fact it's located in the fan housing), basically under the glovebox, if you sit in the passenger seat with your head where your feet should go, you'll see it
