Fisrt time 155 owner
I have just recently bought my first Alfa, a 1993 2.0 8v 155. What a truly remarkable car, I'll never buy another ford !!
I'll try to get some photos in the new year, it's not much to look at yet. It is about three different shades of red, all faded !
Anyway, I'm hoping that someone may be able to help with a small problem which has developed.
When starting her a couple of times recently a light has shown on the instrument cluster (nothing on check panel) but it has no symbol on it. It is situated directly above the handbrake warning light.
Not sure if it is linked, but in addition to this I have not been able to start it at all a couple of times - it basically doesn't supply the starter. I get nothing at all, but given a couple of minutes of trying it seems to suddenly spring in to life. I am suspecting the solenoid, but wondered if there may be an electronic system (linked to the warning light?) which is not allowing me to start due to another problem ....
I am sure it wouldn't take me too long to diagnose, but thought I'd see if anyone had come across this before ...
Thanks in advance for your help!
