Thumbs Up Christmas Eve fun..

Now that it's starting to get parky.. and BEFORE you stuff your faces with Christmas dinner (makes sliding under the car more tricky...)

Remember to grease up yer hand-brake cable dudes... (at the wheel end). It was -2 here the other morning and I felt that familiar "not quite springing off" feeling when I took the h/brake off...

And the door locks, especially if your little flap cover has gone awol.

Happy motoring...

Re: Christmas Eve fun..

Guess he means the little cover which moves out the way when you put your key in the lock....stops a lot of muck/water etc.

Greased my nipples about a month back thanks Ralf...and a very enjoyable experience it was too ....but still leave the handbrake off anyway

Re: Christmas Eve fun..

Wrinx has the right idea.
From what I've seen there are two possible ways the handbrake cabn sieze up.
There's the connectors at the wheel end which Ralf is referring to, but also you can get water in the length of the cable.
Depending on which one is effecting you, nipple greasing might not do the job (although I'm sure it'll be enjoyable anyway)
